Colmers Ward, based at Bridport Community Hospital are looking for either an experienced or new to care Health Care Assistant to join our team.As a Health Care Assistant, you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team who support patients in need of rehabilitation and palliative end of life care for the local and wider community. We have a variety of flexible family working patterns listed below;Early - 07.30 - 15.30Late - 12.30 - 20.30Long Day - 07:30 - 20:30Nights - 20.15 - 07.45Weekend and public holidays at enhanced payMain duties of the jobTo assist registered nursing staff in providing high quality individualised nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers.To assist the multidisciplinary team to aid patients in gaining independence and mobility in preparation for a safedischarge. To participate in providing a range of therapeutic activitiesfor patients.Colmers ward is a 24 bedded ward where the friendly ward team provide a high standard of care for the local population.
