Job summaryHighly Specialised Musculo-Skeletal (MSK) Paediatric Physiotherapist - Band 7 Part time 15 hours- Cross site - Fixed Term Contract Maternity Leave Cover.We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic Band 7 - MSK paediatric physiotherapist to work alongside our Advanced Practitioner, an additional Band 7 specialist physio and split post band 6 physio. This will be a fixed term part time, cross-site role, to cover maternity leave .Interviews would take place on Wednesday 10th June 2024.Main duties of the jobAs part of Band 7 clinical leadership, this role would support supervision and line management of students to develop skills in paediatric assessment and management within MSK, as well as supporting junior colleagues and peers within the adult MSK teams on site.You will be working in a supportive team environment, alongside experienced MSK clinicians, including advanced practitioners, the Paediatric MSK Clinical Lead, Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant and paediatricians within ESHT as required. This role will also be central to liaison with other providers of paediatric healthcare in East Sussex including external services that provide Neurodevelopmental therapy and complex case management.This post will give you great opportunity to understand the needs of MSK paediatric care across East Sussex, with strong links to the cross Trust Clinical Interest Group in the South East, working with the Advanced Practitioner and other clinical leads to develop regional pathways, and identify areas for business development.Our teams have a strong commitment to supporting personal professional development through an embedded in-service training programme, clinical and leadership supervision, mentoring and appraisal. Able to demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in this specialised area of physiotherapy practiceDesirablePostgraduate / higher level learning ? Masters modules, ?
