Job summaryA fabulous opportunity has arisen for a band 7 HTT lead within the Kensington and Chelsea older adult community mental health team.The post holder would be able to provide leadership to the HTT team which is part of the wider older adult CMHT. Candidates would preferably have worked as a Band 6 or above CPN for at least 2 years in mental health and have experience of older adult care.The multi-disciplinary team has close links and is co-located with our social work colleagues. It is a friendly and supportive team and is welcoming of new staff. Research and service development is encouraged and supported both by the team and the Trust.You do not need to be car driver for this community post as all visits are done by public transport in this interesting and diverse borough.Main duties of the jobWorking as part of the Community Mental Health service to offer intensive support and treatment to patients in the community in the acute phase of a mental health crisis as an alternative to inpatient care. To act as gate keepers to all admissions.
