Job summaryThe successful candidate will be joining a Trust with a focus on providing excellent patient care and experience alongside innovation; Their role will be to provide essential patient data to the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre (ICNARC) to allow them to develop the best ways to treat acute patients, resulting in the best possible outcomes.The main duties of this role are to work through clinical patient data management systems, as well as working closely with ICNARC by representing Royal Papworth Critical Care unit. We supply critical care data which is compared with other critical care units in England and Wales.Main duties of the jobThe Successful candidate will have an analytical mind, with an eye for detail, and be able to handle a large quantity of data. They should also be self-motivated and able to work on their own.Previous experience of ICNARC, Intensive Care units or Clinical work would be an advantage. Other skills should include:*High level of communication skills*Data, quality, Audit and IT knowledge*The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines*Applicants should have proven interpersonal skills, have excellent organisational skills and demonstrate good leadership skills.
