Job summaryLead Pharmacist CAMHSSussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional clinical pharmacist and independent prescriber to support our Learning Disabilities Services (LD) across Sussex. The role has been pivotal in improving medicines use within the service. The role supports clinicians and operational leads across LD services in all aspects of medicines use, including improving medicines use, education and training, clinical queries and support, medicines spend and running patient facing clinics and prescribing roles. The role also leads on all aspects of LD related prescribing, including shared care and guidance at Trust and ICS levels. The role has also being pivotal in supporting STOMP / STAMP reviews within the Trust and supporting system partners. The role will support the LD Senior Leadership Team and Directorate.The role is Trustwide and there is flexibility for base across Sussex and opportunities for flexible and part home-working. The role will be required to support LD services across the Trust.There is scope for this role to develop further as an Advanced Core Pharmacist and personal development towards Consultant Level Practice.Main duties of the jobThe role will lead on all aspects of medicines optimisation within LD across Trust services, working in collaboration with the Lead Pharmacist CAMHS The role will support clinical and operational colleagues on all aspects of medicines use within LD, including clinics and prescribing role within the service (STOMP / STAMP). The post holder will be active member of LD leadership groups and directorate.
