Job summaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Locum Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join theCamden MOSAIC CAMHS service. Camden MOSAIC is an integrated service for children and young people with disabilities and their families. This multi-agency partnership service aims to work together to support families to help their child with complex needs to participate fully infamily and community life.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, with experience and interest in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant multi-disciplinary CAMHS team. There will be opportunities at the Tavistock and CNWL for continuing professional development. You will be part of a truly integrated, multi-agency partnership at CNWL and we require candidates to workflexibly and confidently within a multi-professional setting.This post will be based in the MOSAIC CAMHS team at Kentish Town Health Centre and we also work closely with the local special needs school where clinics have been arranged in order to improve accessibility to our services for families with children with learning disabilities and complex social and communication difficulties.The post holder will offer assessment, consultation and interventions as appropriate tochildren and adolescents alongside working with parents and carers and professionals from the local authority and third sector.
