Job summaryTo provide comprehensive and effective management, co-ordination, and administration support for the training, education and development of medical student placements for the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. This includes but is not exhaustive to: block dates of placements, booking accommodation for students on placements, lecture programmes, allocation lists, timetables, student attendance monitoring and assessment forms.Main duties of the jobThis post is responsible for administering all aspects of Undergraduate student placements, working closely with the Associate Clinical Sub Dean, Module leads, Medical Education Manager & Deputy Manager along with Southampton Medical School to ensure the effective delivery and administration of the Undergraduate Placements.To be part of the team working with Clinical Tutors/Specialty Leads to deliver high quality Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Education on the Isle of Wight, in accordance with the requirements of Health Education England South East along with local, regional and national standards.To arrange and administer courses on behalf of Health Education England - South East and the Trust for Speciality and Associate Specialist Doctors.About usWe serve a population of approximately 150,000 residents, making the services we offer variable and personalised with a flexible approach to our service users.Working for our Trust brings a variety of benefits, including an onsite day nursery, cycle-to-work scheme, discounts at local businesses and gyms, and the opportunity to hire Trusts beach hut in Ryde.
