We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking professional to join us at this exciting time to provide specialist expert advice for Junior Doctors regarding on-call rotas and Medical & Dental terms and conditions.The post holder will work across the Trust, liaising with Clinical Business Units and medical staff at all levels, to ensure that the Medical Workforce function is operationally efficient to deliver an effective service across the organisation. You will assist with delivery of medical workforce changes, provide a key source of expert knowledge and understanding of national medical workforce agendas, including Medical & Dental Terms & Conditions of Service, job planning and rota design.Supporting the Head of Medical Workforce, the post holder will support the operational running of juniors' doctor rotas within the divisions and use financial and workforce information to support the divisions and tumour sites.You will have a strong team ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under pressure.This post will have line management responsibility for the two Junior Doctor Rota Managers.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will support the operational running of juniors' doctor rotas and use financial and workforce information to support the division and tumour sites within the division.The Medical Staffing Operations Manager will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the delivery of the relevant services and monitor delivery against these and agree them with the divisions prior to implementation.
