Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Workforce Team working as a Medical Workforce Advisor at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.The post holder to provide a comprehensive Medical HR Service, to meet the needs of the divisions in an effective and professional manner, including recruitment, junior doctor rotations, HR advice and support to medical staff, in all aspects of employment, including contracts of employment, interpretation of terms and conditions of service and policies and procedures.The role will involve working closely with various Business Managers and Clinical Leads to agree and deliver on SLAs within the service, and internal colleagues as appropriate to provide a consistent and responsive service.Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will be expected to have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and be able to display a high standard of communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Applicants should be self-motivated and a committed team player with the ability to work independently. The ability to prioritise workload, maintain flexibility in response to change and a proactive approach to work is important; as is the ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude and use of initiative when dealing with unexpected situations.The successful applicant must have good IT skills with the ability and willingness to learn new tasks and systems, particularly desirable would be experience in Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions, Trac, Health Roster and ESR. You must be able to confidently manage your own workload and prioritise constant competing demands.You will need excellent attention to detail and will be used to producing high quality of work, even when under pressure.
