Job summaryProvides patient-orientated pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients within the identified Service Group including the Community Vaccination Service; supervises less experienced technicians and support staff; ensures availability of inpatient medication supplies for individual patients on designated ward(s).Main duties of the jobWe are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly Medicines Management Team at University Hospital Wales, Cardiff.The role will involve working as an integral part of our Medicines Management Pharmacy team, delivering a patient-orientated Medicines Management service, and working closely with our patients to aid medicines administration, support medicines independence and facilitate complex medicines discharge situations discharge across the health board.You will also get the opportunity to work with the Community Vaccination Services and support health protection for the local population.
