The purpose of the post is to provide a biopsychosocial assessment and treatment service for all patients with mental health needs between the ages 18-65-yrs old, who present to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, either within ED or the wards. The liaison team offers support and training to our acute colleagues in terms of mental illness, challenging behaviour, comorbid presentations, and the application of the MHA and MCA. The liaison team advocate for mental health patients and their carers in line with the objectives of the Trust.About usOxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings.
