Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant practitioner within the OPMHS Bridgend. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual to join our team. This post holder will support a small team of Occupational Therapists working within an Older Persons mental health community setting.Main duties of the jobYou will follow procedures and treatment plans, supporting the Occupational Therapists (OTs) in the delivery of OT intervention and rehabilitation within dementia and functional mental health in community setting and carry small caseload. You will with individuals in both Primary and Secondary care settings. You work with people experiencing memory problems providing early intervention support, education and rehabilitation. You will also work with people with more complex mental health needs that require care and treatment planning.
