Job summaryAs an integral member of the Ophthalmology Team, to provide admin support to the team within the defined locations, working closely with the Consultant Orthoptist and Matron.To provide a wide range of duties ensuring an efficient service to the department at all times.Main duties of the jobTo adhere to hospital policy in relation to patient confidentiality at all timesAnswer telephone calls in a polite and courteous manner, transfer calls and relay all messages to members of staffSort all incoming post and deliveriesOrdering of supplies for the Outpatient Departments, ensuring best possible pricing, researching online and using Eros.Collating and distributing the appropriate departmental data for all on and off site Outpatients DepartmentsSupport Ophthalmology meetings (as required)Work with the work force co-ordinator to update rooming schedules, daily clinic sheets and forecastingReformatting and creating documentation as required including producing graphs, spreadsheets, leaflets, PDF Documents etcInputting information such as additional shifts, absence, shift changes into Health RosterDownloading data for review for departments e.g. patient experience /friends and familyGeneral office duties filing and photocopyingA variety of administration duties to support the smooth running of the Outpatient DepartmentsAbout usThere's never been a more exciting time to build your career at Frimley Health, one of the country's largest and most respected trustsFrimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) has an outstanding reputation and a proud record of achievement.
