Job summaryWe are an integrated Community Children's Therapies service providing assessment and intervention for children and young people aged 0-19 years with a range of physical and developmental conditions, complex needs and life limiting conditions.An exciting opportunity has arisen in the service for a full time administrator to join our friendly teams at the Walsall Child Development Centre.The post holder will assist in the development and administration of the Community Paediatric Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Services and ensure all reporting mechanisms are implemented and reviewed, working closely with the team lead to ensure smooth running of the service. There will be regular dealings with the families known to the service by taking phone messages and the successful candidate must therefore be able to respect confidentiality, be courteous, non-judgmental and demonstrate excellent communication skills.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be expected to show the application of a high standard of administrative/secretarial skills and a good degree of personal initiative appropriate to the specific tasks to be undertaken. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work on their own or within a team whilst under pressure, and ability to manage own time and work load are essential. You will need to be a team player and be able to work collaboratively within the integrated team as well as the wider MDT.
