Hull City Council are looking to recruit a full time Parking and Adjudication Supervisor to supervise a team who process appeals against Penalty Charge Notices.
As a Parking Adjudication Supervisor, you will provide effective leadership, guidance and support for staff through supervision, mentoring and training.
Once fully trained the successful candidate will be required to:
Identify and manage the personnel development needs of the staff.
Develop and deliver training packages.
Ensure all performance targets are met and ensure all staff have the technical knowledge of relevant computer systems including chipside.
Management of absences, return to work interviews and leave requests from staff.
Prepare reports providing technical information for meetings with elected members, the public, internal departments, and external organisations.
Respond to queries and complaints received from internal and external sources.
Adjudicate on Parking Penalty Charge Notice appeal both informal and formal, produce case files for the use in defence of Parking Appeals that are taken to the independent Traffic Penalty tribunal or County Court.
Provide advice and guidance to the Debtors Team in relation to the execution of Warrants of Control, Recovery, and decisions in writing off debt.
