Join our team! We’re hiring a Peripatetic Healthcare Assistant to join our growing Rapid Response Team. Our teams of peripatetic support workers provide a valuable flexible resource, allowing HASCS to meet the changing needs of the organisation. Whether covering for a staffing shortfall or being involved in the set up and delivery of new care packages, your role will be varied and rewarding.
The role would require working in different care packages, the majority of which need assistance in Moving & Handling, Medication Management, Non-invasive Ventilation, PEG, Catheters. Experience of working with complex care patients would be ideal, either adult or paediatric. Previous experiences with the above clinical skills is beneficial however training will be provided for successful candidates.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have good communication skills, be dynamic and be prepared to work flexibly in a variety of locations. This could include working some weekends, waking nights or sleep-ins if required and bank holidays. You must be a driver for this role as you will be travelling to different areas depending on the needs of the business.
Pay rates:
• £14.00/hour during weekdays day shifts (Monday-Fridays)
• £15.00/hour during weekday night shifts and all day Saturdays
• £16.00/hour during all day Sundays
• £22.00/hour during all day Bank holidays
• £9.00/hour Sleeping Nights

You must be flexible with your working hours and days for this role. The hours a week vary between 36 to 48 hours per week.
