Job summaryDue to the retirement of the current post-holder, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician passionate about medicines governance to join us as a key member of the Pharmacy Team.This post is up to full time 37.5 hours per week, we would accept part time with a minimum 30 hours per week, and based at Ipswich Hospital however you will be required to travel to Colchester Hospital.You will support pharmacy and medicines governance across the organisation working closely with the Chief Pharmacist (Controlled Drugs Accountable Officer) to ensure the safe management of controlled drugs. Being able to develop strong working relationships with key individuals across the organisation as a "critical friend" is essential for this role. You will also need good time management skills along with being able to prioritise your workload.In addition you will also play an important role supporting robust oversight of pharmacy governance including regulatory compliance.
