Job summaryPhysician Associate - Acute MedicineBand 7The Trust is looking to recruit a Physician Associate to join an already established dynamic, driven and team orientated cohort of physician associates working across the Trust and in particular with our acute medicine colleagues in AMU and Same Day Emergency Care unit.The role entails working with Consultant Physicians within acute medicine.The PA will provide expert assistance to the consultant physicians and their teams in the provision of a high quality service to patients. They will be expected to liaise with other professionals and specialties as required and complete necessary documentation relating to their patientsThe Physician Associate willbe supervised by a designated consultant and will also have individual mentors to oversee their career development.The Physician Associate will liaise closely with the senior nursing team within the trust.
