Were currently looking for someone to complement our experienced Primary Care Team, delivering physical healthcare to at risk and highly complex young people. Prison is a community and, as nurses, we are part of a team working in that community; we are a cog in the bigger machine and provide a service to those living here.An informal visit is highly recommended.Main duties of the jobAs a Clinical Team Leader you will be required to: Complete initial health assessments Triage and assess minor illnesses and injuries and help manage long term conditions. Provide emergency response in keeping with the community model. Support with and deliver childhood immunisation and vaccinations. Co-ordinate the shift ensuring a safe, caring, effective and well-led service is provided 24/7. Liaise with the senior management team and undertake line management responsibilities. As well as clinical responsibilities, you will also perform some admin & clerical duties such as assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care plans, audits, Datix and link nurse role work streams.
