Job summaryAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Psychologist with a passion for working with people who have chronic and enduring psychosis and be part of the leadership team within the East Sussex Rehab Pathway service both in community and inpatient, providing peer support and part of team decision making.Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Practitioner Psychologist working within East Sussex Rehabilitation Pathway including Community and Amberstone Hospital you will work closely with the MDT to ensure a trauma-informed, therapeutic culture is promoted and embedded with collaborative service user engagement. You will work closely with the 8b Principal Psychologist to provide leadership around the implementation of evidence-based interventions.The role includes providing individual and group evidence-based interventions for people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. The post holder will provide a high quality, specialist applied psychological therapy service to patients and their families or carers, where there are complex presentations. They will have strong skills in assessment, intervention and formulation; and experience of delivering evidence based psychological therapy and be informed by attachment-based models. The post holder will take a clinical leadership role and will have supervisory experience. They will contribute and support psychological practice within the wider team through consultation, supervision, formulation and training. We have an established group treatment programme and you will be involved in supporting this.
