Job summaryWe are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for motivated & enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Ophthalmology unit. The ophthalmology unit provides Outpatient, Theatre and Inpatient services but you will primarily be providing care in the outpatient department at the Royal Gwent Hospital and its satellite clinics on other ABUHB sites. The ability to travel to geographic sites to deliver service requirements is essential.In order to develop the necessary specialist skills required of this post the successful applicant will complete the competency based framework and have access to the ophthalmology educational programme.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be reliable, hardworking and work well within a team. The applicant must be a registered nurse.
