Job summaryRehabilitation Assistant - Band 3Outpatient musculoskeletal departmentWest Wiltshire Sites to be confirmed at appointment30 hours per week - PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work alongside a group of experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapists; helping individuals to return from injury, illness and manage long term conditions.The successful candidate will be motivated to learn and develop skills under the mentorship of the physiotherapists; we use a learning and development pathway to help you with this. The position is available at across our West sites but we are looking for a flexible member to support our teams.You would be supported to provide excellent one to one and group/class rehabilitation, progress mobility and function and help with return to sport. You should have a good knowledge of exercise physiology and be willing to learn more about injury and disease. You will prescribe, demonstrate and progress exercises in line with physiotherapy and post-operative guidelines. We strive to improve health and wellbeing so the ability to talk to patients and educate is essential.Main duties of the jobYou will also support the smooth working of the department on a day-to-day basis.
