EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS NORTH LANARKSHIRE We are recruiting School Crossing Patrollers. North Lanarkshire Council are recruiting permanent part-time Static School Crossing Patrollers and Mobile School Crossing Patroller to cover vacancies in our local communities. In this job you will play a vital role in your community ensuring the safety of pedestrians, in particular children, when crossing the road. A protective uniform and full training will be provided to ensure that you know what this key role is about. You must have excellent road sense and good communication skills. You will be polite, friendly, punctual, self-motivated/reliable, and able to work on your own initiative. As a Mobile School Crossing Patroller, you will not have a fixed location and will be asked to travel throughout the designated areas. Therefore, you must have the ability to travel independently to deliver this vital service. We will try, as much as possible, to keep you local to your home. The ability to work in all weather conditions is essential. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Group Scheme (PVG) member prior to starting this post.
