Job summaryThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CBT clinician who would like to develop leadership skills alongside clinical work withinBrent Talking Therapies. You must have good knowledge of NHS Talking Therapies, clinical experience, demonstrate high standards of communication skills, problem solving, and good professional working relationships with clinicians, service users, carers, and professionals.Candidates must have current BABCP therapist accreditation as an essential requirement in order to apply for this role.Main duties of the jobThe postholder will provide clinical supervision and line management to CBT trainees and qualified CBT therapists, support the senior team with duty responsibilities, assessment supervision, hold a clinical caseload and receive their own clinical supervision.We would invite the postholder to develop their interest and act as a champion within a special interest pathway, such as, community outreach, perinatal, young adults, wellbeing, long-term health conditions, and older adults.The post holder will contribute to the ongoing development of Brent Talking Therapies in line with national targets.The catchment area of the post is the London borough of Brent. The main hub for the service is based at Fairfields House in Kingsbury and there is a satellite hub at Bell House in Willesden Green. You will be required to work across both hubs and in other parts of the borough, e.g. GP surgeries and community settings.We operate an agile working policy where staff combine remote working and being on-site to deliver face-to-face appointments and other service commitments that require a hub-based presence. The post-holder may be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays including an evening clinic as required by the service. This includes monitoring of KPIs.To advise both service and professional management on those aspects of the service where psychological and/or organisational matters need addressing.
