Job summaryWe have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive registered pharmacist to join our team delivering innovative pharmacy services to the community.No two days will be the same; you will have patient contact; you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; you will problem solve and you will have the opportunity to shape the pharmacy service you deliver.Prospective candidates should be efficient, enthusiastic and confident to work autonomously within a supportive team and their sphere of competence. They should have excellent communication skills as the job will involve liaising with social care, clinical and community teams as well as patients and their carers.You will have a desire to improve patient outcomes; an aspiration to participate in research, the will to learn and develop and the opportunity to influence the future of pharmacy services.You will have a Masters in Pharmacy, or equivalent, independent non-medical prescribing qualification (ideally) and be registered with the GPC.You will need to be flexible in your approach to work and able to travel as the role involves hybrid working.Experience in community services is not essential but would be helpful.Part time hours will be considered for suitable candidates.If you are not already an independent pharmacist prescriber, you will be supported to gain this qualification. You will be offered a band 7 development post, progressing to band 8a upon completion of the qualification and performance review.Main duties of the jobYou will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting our four primary care home teams deliver patient centered care primarily.
