We also offer primary care services, a range of specialist community services, and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC).Our state-of-the-art equipment, leading technologies and strong links to local universities put us at the forefront of research and innovations, enabling us to provide world-class care to our local communities.Its never been a more exciting time to join the Royal Devon, as youll help to shape our services as we continue along our integration journey.Job descriptionJob responsibilitiesFor more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below.More detail about the role:We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, highly motivated and adaptable person who is committed to providing the highest standards of care for our patients.The Endoscopy Unit currently has five procedure rooms in Exeter and delivers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in the specialties of Gastro-intestinal medicine and surgery, colo-rectal surgery, respiratory medicine and urology.We also have a temporary unit with one procedure room based in Tiverton, which with the opening of our new purposed built unit in March 2025 will expand into three rooms delivering a range of diagnostic endoscopic procedures for patients across the Eastern and Northern region of Devon.In addition to the job description the post holder will be expected to assist within the Endoscopic Procedural rooms and escort the patients during the Endoscopic procedure.These roles are mainly based at our Tiverton site, to initially work in the temporary unit and move across to the new unit in March 2025, however rotational posts through both sites will be considered.Successful applicants will be supported by our team leaders with a programme of training and external courses.Please note an initial training period will be carried out at our Exeter site before transferring to Tiverton.This post can be a development opportunity starting as a Band 2 and progressing to a Band 3 upon completion of the Trust and Endoscopist essential training.Working Pattern: 20 hours per week.Interview Date: To be confirmedFor further information please contact: Paula Anderson, Clinical Nurse Manager on 01392 403190 or email paula.anderson1@nhs.netAs an inclusive employer, the Royal Devon values diversity and is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential.
