At Quantuma Yorkshire, our corporate insolvency team has an opportunity for you to become our next Senior Manager!
Your expertise will be put to good use immediately as you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of delivering technical services,
developing your team (both as a collective and as individuals) and, of course, developing yourself.
Your background will obviously consist of the managing and maintaining of a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, but just as
important is your hunger to motivate and develop your team.
What you will be responsible for
* Providing leadership, direction and guidance to staff on a portfolio of larger and complex recovery cases.
* Planning the assignment efficiently to meet budgets and recoverability of fees required and communicate to the team.
* Managing the allocation of work to other team members and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Have proven technical knowledge of different types of insolvency cases, comprising of, but not limited to, ADMs,CVLs,CWUs
CVA’s.
* Developing/training delegated members of staff, providing advice, guidance and training on allocated tasks to ensure structured
development of person concerned. Also to overview their caseload on a regular basis.
* Assist Managing Directors with the analysis of team WIP and debtors.
* Maximising asset realisations and ensuring recoveries are pursued in a pro-active and cost effective way.
* Oversee effective use of IPS and Case diaries and make recommendations where appropriate.
* Liaise with professional agents.
* Oversee production of high quality reports and letters.
* Complete all statutory tasks and formalities in accordance with set deadlines. Maintaining and overseeing an effective diary
system in this respect.
* Monitoring and overseeing of fees to ensure they are drawn regularly, and in accordance with resolutions passed by creditors.
* Promote & encourage statutory compliance and current legislation, best practice and Quantuma policies and procedures to the
team.
* Develop personal contacts with existing work providers and other professionals within the Recovery/Insolvency market.
* Be aware of technical developments and be able to recognise their impact on the client base & communicate this to the team.
* Partake in and Support marketing and business development initiatives with relevant technical commentary and content.
* Support business development through attendance at networking events and attending relevant industry group meetings and
seminars.
Qualifications, experience and technical skills
* CPI & JIEB qualified, with both depth and breadth of experience in corporate insolvency.
* Excellent compliance skills.
* Encourage and train team in more advanced and effective use of IT including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, IPS.
* Apply knowledge of Quantuma, industry, markets and core client base, highlighting potential business opportunities – building
commercial awareness and understanding the firm’s wider services & offerings.
* Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively – managing own time and costs in addition to overseeing the team.
* Maintains & promotes high professional standards of conduct and practice and demonstrates commitment to firms initiatives and
direction.
* Promotes need for continuous learning and considers development of specialist areas of knowledge.
