Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our committed Integrated Musculoskeletal Outpatient Therapy team based in one of the largest general hospitals in East Anglia. This is an ideal opportunity for physiotherapists seeking to develop both their clinical and leadership skills.Our dynamic and highly regarded team comprises of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Technicians and Assistants working together to provide a holistic, effective and high quality service. We provide a secondary care service treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions referred by consultants from Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Oncology, Pain Clinic and the Emergency Department.This role will suit an experienced Physiotherapist, who is a confident and professional team player with the clinical skills required to manage a diverse, complex caseload within a dynamic environment. The post is based in a friendly and forward thinking department, where you will be supported with regular supervision sessions by an experienced team including Clinical Specialists.Main duties of the jobTo demonstrate, as an autonomous practitioner, advanced assessment, analytical and clinical reasoning skills to determine a clinical diagnosis and treatment plan.To administer the appropriate treatment including the use of advanced techniques and re-evaluation of those techniques on a continual basis. To maintain records in accordance with CSP regulations.To be flexible in the workplace involving working in the Outpatient department, Hospital Clinics and GP surgeries.To assist the senior staff in delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy Service provided to acute and chronic conditions and those with bio psychosocial issues on a day-to-day basis.To contribute to the achievement of service objectives, facilitating change as necessaryTo organise and plan own caseload to meet service and patient priorities.
