Job Title: Senior Radiographer - Cath Lab Department: Cath Lab Location: Cromwell Hospital, Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU Permanent / Contract: Permanent Salary range: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) Role specific benefits: 4 shifts per week ( Monday to Friday) Full time/part time: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, plus on-call New Joiner get £4,500 Golden Hello payment, or upto £5,000 towards domestic relocation (*terms and conditions apply) Financial support available to successful candidates to access fast track visa processing, subject to eligibility. We currently have a superb career opportunity for a Senior Radiographer with proven post qualification experience as a Radiographer in Cath Lab. As the Senior Radiographer you’ll be working in Cardiac Services supporting and deliver high standard diagnostic imaging in the Cath Lab. Some of the procedures performed in our services include: Ablations, Coronary angiograms and angioplasties, Cardiac Devices insertion/removal, PFO closure, TAVI, EVAR, Prostate embolization, Fibroid embolization, Varicocele embolization, Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties, PTC, Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization. New Joiner get £4,500 Golden Hello payment, or upto £5,000 towards domestic relocation (*terms and conditions apply) You’ll help us make health happen by: As the Radiographer for Angiography, you will be working under the leadership of the Head of Cardiac Services. You’ll maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards. Duties include and not limited to: You’ll be responsible for perform all types of IR, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures. You’ll demonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants. You’ll ensure that a high-quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting. You’ll accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting. You’ll participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor. You’ll be prepared to train and work in both single plane and biplane Angiographic Studies. You’ll be fully conversant with the Radiology Management System, PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation. You’ll have good understanding of clinical and non clinical governance, and adhere to hospital governance policies. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Angiography specific radiology qualification/certificate (desirable) Relevant post-grad experience in an Angiography Lab (essential) PAC’s Trained (essential) CT Trained (essential) Qualifications BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential) Registration with HCPC (essential) Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
