Job summaryWe have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Radiographers to join our friendly and supportive Radiology team at Community Diagnostic Centre in AmershamYou will join our team of Senior Radiographers where we will provide opportunities for you to develop your career. This post is rotational which will include CT & MRI and General X-ray if required.This post will be based at CDC in Amersham Hospital but the successful applicant may work cross-site if required.Main duties of the jobVet and accept imaging requests and advising medical officers of theappropriateness of requests.To undertake intravenous injection of contrast media by hand or by high pressure injector (over 16 years old) in line with the injection policy.To undertake equipment quality assurance in line with QA programme and take appropriate action.Interpret images sufficiently to discuss with a Consultant Radiologist further sequences within agreed protocols.
