We are a Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership employer and are proud to contribute to the delivery of social work education with the University of Hull.This is a secondment post to cover Maternity until 18-04-2025Main duties of the jobYour role will centre on the delivery of specialist mental health support to people with severe and enduring mental illness who are requiring treatment and care in the community.There will also be a requirement to complete statutory social work duties on behalf of the local authority including the completion of Care Act Needs Assessments, Mental Capacity Act assessments and to provide social work support to people subject to the Court of ProtectionThis will be in the form of direct work and care coordination with people on caseload, providing duty support to those under the team and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings both in house and with colleagues externally.
