Job summaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join the Camden MOSAIC CAMHS service. Camden MOSAIC is an integrated service for children and young people with disabilities and their families. This multi-agency partnership service aims to work together to support families to help their child with complex needs to participate fully in family and community life.The post holder will be a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, registered with the ACP, with experience and interest in working with children and young people with disabilities and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists as part of a vibrant multi-disciplinary CAMHS team. You will receive regular clinical supervision from an experienced Child Psychotherapist and have opportunities at the Tavistock and CNWL for continuing professional development. You will be part of a truly integrated, multi-agency partnership at CNWL and we require candidates to work flexibly and confidently within a multi-professional setting.This post comprises of 4 sessions in the MOSAIC CAMHS team and 1 session in Swiss Cottage Special School.Main duties of the jobThis post holder will provide child psychotherapy assessments and treatment, generic CAMHS assessments, a rich variety of clinical work with families and schools and the wider network as part of the MOSAIC CAMHS team. The post holder will need to be able to work independently, flexibly and as part of a large team.The post holder will be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team, and with a wider professional network. The post holder will work with other members of the team in order to develop the team's functioning and also the role of the psychotherapeutic and psychological thinking within MOSAIC.The post holder will make an active contribution to the Tavistock child psychotherapy discipline as agreed with the Lead Child Psychotherapist and Head of Child Psychotherapy Discipline.The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced based care to a group of service users, conscious of their changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity, working collaboratively, with other clinicians and stakeholders.You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of outcome focussed, evidence based, and complex interventions and responsible for the formulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care.About usThe Tavistock & Portman has a worldwide reputation for therapeutic approaches in Mental Health and is a leading provider of post-graduate training and academic courses for Mental Health and Social Care professions.
