Sherwood Oaks Hospital provides high quality care 24 hours a day 7 days a week to people over the age of 18 from Nottingham City and County who are experience a range of mental health and emotional difficulties.Please note this is a re-advertisement, part of rolling campaign.Main duties of the jobWe are seeking proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused registered nurses with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary teams to be involved in extensive assessments and formulations to support the planning and delivery of patients care. To provide education and supervision to junior staff members, peers and other professionalsA registered nurse (Mental Health/Learning Disability) with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).The role requires a clinician with skills to assess patients needs, analyse and develop treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework.To assess, plan, implement, promote and evaluate safe, creative and effective treatment plans in collaboration with the patients diverse needs, their carers and other professionals. Interventions will be evidence based and designed to reduce stress and anxiety, manage risk and aid recovery.To maintain accurate, timely and relevant clinical records both written and computerised.To maintain the safe custody of healthcare records.
