Job summaryThe North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit someone to join our team.Directly accountable to the Volunteer Development Manager, you will provide efficient and effective support to internal and external team member and stakeholders, within a multi-disciplinary team supporting Volunteers and Third-Party Providers, to have excellent people skills with a dynamic approach and can think outside the box.The successful candidate will be a well organised and motivated individual who can promote the department ensuring that compliance is at the forefront. You will need to be able to dynamic plan and make decisions in supporting the Volunteer Development Manager. Ensuing that the day-to-day management of the team can effectively function allowing all workstreams to perform inline with the required performance standards.The successful candidate will also require excellent communication skills that are essential to the role, with the ability to cope with conflicting demands. To be flexible using effective time management skills to prioritise workloads, be computer literate and always ensure professionalism.Candidates must have an A Level or equivalent in Business Management.Candidates must hold a current valid UK driving License.Be prepared to Travel.Main duties of the jobWork with the Heads of Services to ensure the 'day-to-day' running and management of Third Parties, volunteer porters, CFRs and ACS.Audits to be undertaken for all TPP twice yearlyPartnership working with internal and external stakeholders including engagement.Regular meetings with all TPPDaily contact with the EOC to ensure that manning levels are maintained and updated.Day to day operational line management of the volunteer delivery team.Investigate complaints identifying learning both individually and organizationalConduct appraisals.Absence managementInputting and managing GRS system to ensure that compliance and TPP skill levels are maintained and assured.To work to ensure all areas within the sphere of responsibility are delivered to agreed performance standards in a cost-effective manner.
