Job summaryThis exciting new post would besuitable for a CAMHS Specialist, Social Worker, Applied Psychologist or other Mental Health Professional with Professional Registration (WTE 0.8)It has been created to bring a strategic focus within East London Foundation Trust Adult Mental Health services on how to better serve the needs of young adults in City and HackneyWorking within the new multi-disciplinary Neighbourhoods team, the post-holder will provide strategic and clinical leadership to the service, working closely with local Child and Adolescent Mental Health services as well as other adult and young adult services in the local are to develop more holistic, person-centred models of care that meet the needs of young adults.Main duties of the jobSupporting CAMHS to AMHS Transitions Policy implementation and improvement.Providing consultation, guidance, advice and training to clinical staff on working with young adults.Developing better pathways in & out of Neighbourhoods teams for young adults in partnership with other local services, both statutory and VCS.Having a strategic focus on improving access & experience for 18-25s, acting on the feedback from service users, consultation and engagement to develop services that better meet the needs of this population.Improving data collection and systems to ensure that information is captured in a systematic way that can be used to better understand and identify the needs of young adults.About usOur mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve.
