Front of House at Glencadam Distillery We are looking for passionate and self-motivated people to work across all public areas of the distillery visitor centre but with a focus on our café. Creating memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional customer service. You will cover a variety of overall duties within the Visitor Centre including greeting guests at reception, taking tour bookings and assisting in general enquires. Providing exceptional customer care within in our gift shop and first class hospitality in the café and whisky bar. These core responsibilities are expected from all team members. Daily Duties will include but are not limited to taking orders, preparing and serving food, cakes, teas, coffees and cocktails. We are looking for motivated individuals who will seek out to create a constantly clean café, bar and site environment. Efficiently manage the proper settlement of customer accounts, be helpful, friendly and alert to customer needs. Key responsibilities and focus: Explain Glencadam Distillery and the wider Angus Dundee portfolio products to guests. Give an exceptional welcome to every guest. Take orders, conduct food and drink service in a professional manner. Efficiently manage the proper settlement of customer accounts. Handle general enquires and alert to customer needs. Engage with customers across the site share your knowledge with them, and understand their needs to help make suitable suggestions. Daily stock take and rotation. Follow food safety procedures and keep the site clean and tidy to the highest standards. Conduct end of day reports and till takings Assist with the set up, hosting and dismantling of events on and off site. Being flexible and working in any area of the site to suit the needs of the business. Put the safety of our guests, the team and yourself at the centre of everything you do. Understand and comply with all safety and quality legislation. Hosting for private lunches, dinners, events and corporate groups. Ideal Candidate Profile: Positive attitude, genuinely friendly and caring Great communication skills Personal presentation to a high standard at all times Barista skills desirable but not essential Hospitality experience preferred Due to the service of alcohol over 18yrs only Full time & Part time positions available What we offer: Staff discount On-site parking including EV charging Company pension scheme (conditions apply) Schedule: Rota rotation over 7 days a week.
