Job summaryWalsall Healthcare NHS Trust Community Children's Nursing Team are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 4 Nursing Associate to work within a team of Nurses, supporting children within the special schools of Walsall and Children/young people requiring nursing intervention at home.You will need excellent communication and clinical skills and have experience of working within a team; you will be required to use electronic patient record systems, in addition to this you will have good time management and be able to prioritise your own work load.Be prepared to increase clinical skills and support the wider Paediatric department as required.The post holder would be expected to work flexibly as required through a Monday-Friday service.Main duties of the jobTo support members of the Community Children's Nursing service to provide an effective, evidence based service to children and young people with additional needs, disabilities, long term conditions, life limiting and life threatening conditions, and their families in Walsall special schools and within the team through delivery of high quality nursing care.About usWalsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 286,700, providing inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community.
