As part of our new pupil welfare structure, we are introducing three additional Student Manager roles, each focused on a key phase of school life. Whether it’s helping younger pupils settle into secondary school, supporting pupils through exam years, or guiding Sixth Formers into adulthood, these roles are all about making a positive daily impact. Roles available Student Manager - Sixth Form (Years 12 - 13) Student Manager - Upper School (Years 9-11) Student Manager - Lower School (Years 7-8) Your Role As a Student Manager, you’ll: Build trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing Deliver early interventions and escalate concerns where necessary Work as part of a collaborative pastoral and safeguarding team You will be a calm, consistent and approachable presence—someone pupils know they can rely on. What You’ll Bring A strong sense of empathy and professionalism Experience supporting young people (e.g. education, social work, youth work) The ability to work independently and manage priorities A proactive, creative, solutions-focused approach The ability to forge positive relationships with young people and adults alike Why CHS?
