It will see you working in the Simulation department at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This post will give the successful applicant the prospect to continue to develop their portfolio in simulation education and / or to acquire simulation experience and skills. The appointment is for 0.4 WTE over a period of 12 months. The post will be available from 1st September 2025. The purpose of this post is to support core human factors and simulation education across our diverse trust. Principally this role will see the successful applicant supporting the delivery of the simulation programme for foundation doctors, in accordance with the foundation programme curriculum. Delivery of other programmes and sessions will also be required, as directed. This post has been designed primarily for trainees at registrar level and we welcome applicants who are undertaking clinical commitments, resulting in a split clinical and simulation post; (i.e. complementing a training programme). Alternatively, it can be standalone without clinical duties. It will suit an individual with a serious interest in pursuing a career path incorporating medical education and clinical leadership. The post holder will be based in the Simulation Centre, Research Innovation and Learning Development (RILD); which is located on the main RDUH Wonford site. The appointee will work closely with the Human Factors and Simulation Fellow to deliver a robust and appropriate service.
