The work is interesting and varied giving you to opportunity to be involved with adults who are experiencing functional problems relating to physical disability, mental health difficulties and learning disability. The role involves everything from assessing for andprovidingbasic equipment and minor adaptations through to confirming the appropriate completion of some major adaptations. Working into teams with a mix of Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technical Instructors, and qualified Occupational Therapists. We share office bases with the wider adult social care services, enabling us to work with Social Workers, Care Managers, Learning Disability Nurses and others from the MDT. The post holder will be based at Eddie Ferguson House, Blyth, Northumberland, with the opportunity to work agile from home and other NCC sites across the county as agreed with management.
