    • We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Building Surveyor who has experience of Retrofit/Decarbonisation on a 12-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £350.00 via an Umbrella company. The ideal candidate will have extensive building pathology knowledge, exposure to Retrofit/Decarbonisation and be RICS accredited. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Undertaking detailed building inspections, and providing specifications of works for the required Retrofit/Decarbonisation knowledge Enforcing, and understanding PAS2035, ensuring all contractors are in adherence with regulations/health and safety Heading contractor meetings, ensuring everyone is understanding of time frames, budgets and regulations Monitoring of contract health, identifying discrepancies and ensuring they are amended accordingly Acting as the subject expert for all aspects of Retrofit/Decarbonisation, providing advice and support to contractors and colleagues Experience required: Experience providing detailed inspections on Retrofit/Decarbonisation works Experience in Contract Administration Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
