Accurate and effective communication with immediate supervisor and work colleagues on job requirements e.g. cost, downtime, and identifying cause. Check all equipment for damages and ensure detailed notification is sent to the Branch Manager. Put forward proposals for modifications and improvements to machines, equipment or processes. Ensure necessary administration and paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time. Qualifications & Experience NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or other relevant qualifications or equivalent experience. Prior experience of working with diesel engines and/or industrial pumps an advantage. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to find and fix faults effectively and efficiently. Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and industry standard hand and power tools. Excellent mechanical aptitude. Good attention to detail with a passion for delivering high quality workmanship.
