Main duties of the job The unit is a Continuing Healthcare nurse led facility, which accommodates 22 residents with complex and unpredictable physical healthcare needs e.g. following and acquired brain injury or a diagnosis of a progressive neurological, respiratory, cardiac or renal disease. We are able to care for patients in need of complex airway or feeding regimes, up to and including full invasive ventilation. The accommodation and environment are designed to deliver flexible and person centred care for each person and we aim to create a "home from home" atmosphere for all our patients. We employ our own chef and social event coordinator which enable our patients to live life to the maximum.
