You will offer comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment to young people aged 18-25 who are experiencing mental health difficulties that are too complex to be managed by primary care, but not so complex that they require involvement from the secondary care mental health teams. Based in Harlow the service covers a broad geographical area with sites in Loughton, Harlow and Stansted. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously to offer assessment and treatment to young people, both 1:1 and via a psychoeducation group programme. They will offer CBT for a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, OCD, but will also offer longer-term specialist CBT for young people who are developing traits of personality disorder.
