As we continue to evolve and strengthen the LEAF Marque Standard, we are seeking a technically skilled and purpose-driven LEAF Marque Standards Officer to help shape the future of sustainable farming. In this role, you will work at the heart of our technical team, supporting the development of the Standard, delivering stakeholder-led projects, and ensuring continuous improvement across our assurance system. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental change, working alongside inspirational farmers, experts, and industry leaders who are driving forward sustainable agriculture across the UK and globally. In this role you will: Contribute to the technical development of the LEAF Marque Standard and supporting guidance, ensuring it is practical, evidence-based, and aligned with stakeholder needs. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders through consultations, workshops, and working groups to gather insights and ensure transparency in Standard development. Lead or support technical projects, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timescales, and quality standards. Assist in developing and enhancing our LEAF Marque IT platform, data systems, and ISEAL Code compliance. Represent LEAF at external events, meetings, and conferences, supporting our mission and building meaningful stakeholder relationships. Support our Impacts work by contributing to strategies that measure and strengthen the effectiveness of LEAF Marque. What We’re Looking For Essential: Strong technical understanding of farming and food systems, with the ability to translate complex knowledge into practical tools and guidance. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with confidence in technical report writing and public speaking. Highly organised, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A team player who can also work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including to remote farms and sites as required. Desirable: Experience working with technical data or databases. Familiarity with certification schemes or assurance systems. Understanding of sustainability standards and ISEAL Code principles.
