The scheme aims to reduce re-offending and homelessness by supporting ex-offenders who struggle to find accommodation in the private rented sector. Responsibilities will include: To assess all referrals received from the prison service and self-referrals with a history of offending approaching the Council for housing assistance. To visit and undertake face to face assessment at the prisons, emergency accommodation and other locations as required.
