3377 - Associate Dean - Construction JOB VACANCIES INTERNAL & EXTERNAL _______________________________________________________________ Associate Dean - Construction Fixed Term for 1 year Full Time, 35 Hours per week Salary: £63,699 per annum As Associate Dean you will be responsible for assisting the Dean in the academic leadership and implementation of all aspects of provision within the Faculty, inspiring and delivering student-centred results in line with the College’s strategic ambitions and the Student Experience Strategy. The focus of this role will be on the development of students studying towards vocational and academic qualifications within construction and built environment industries. A particular focus will be on innovation and sustainability in these industries with an established and successful employer board advising on industry skills requirements. Part of a Faculty management team you will provide support to the Dean for a life-shaping and personalised student experience in addition to providing leadership and operational management to a group of Industry Academies/ curriculum teams, promoting an industry focused tertiary educational model. As Associate Dean, you will manage these teams to meet the Colleges aims in relation to City Learning 4.0 and our Industry Academy model of curriculum delivery including working with employers and sponsoring companies. You will also support and/or create commercial, international and other non SFC income generation opportunities with key stakeholders in order to create a relevant industry focused curriculum offer. You will be an active member of the College’s Management Team, contributing to the leadership and operational management of the faculty whilst also being accountable for sector leading performance levels and financial control of budgets within your areas of responsibility. You will be a champion of change, and provide inspirational leadership being a role model for all staff, exemplifying the College’s Purpose and Way.
