Care Manager –£58,300 per annum. We are looking for a second Nurse Qualified Care Manager to work closely with the Home Manager, existing Care Manager and team at our St Georges Care Home in Cambridge. Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. St George’s Court is a 76 bed home and is a light, modern care home located a couple of miles south of Cambridge city centre and just a few minutes’ walk from Cambridge Botanic Garden. We are very much part of our local community, with staff who live nearby in Comberton, Chesterton and Fulbourn, with a busy programme of events that sees regular visits from our neighbours, including local schools and community groups. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect: Salary: Up to £58,300 per annum. 45 hours a week from Monday – Sunday About the role: The Care Manager role provides leadership and support on all issues relating to clinical excellence. Coordinating and coaching teams to ensure that outstanding nursing and care services are provided, quality standards are continually improved, and clinical outcomes are recorded and measured. As the Care Manager, you will ensure that the team are well supported and well equipped to perform their roles, as this will help them to provide the best quality care for our residents. You will personally be passionate about providing the highest quality of care, ensuring the lives of residents are continually enriched. You will be required to share responsibility for the on call management rota at weekends and evenings together with the other Care Manager and Home Manager. What we are looking for from you: Registered Nurse – RGN, qualified with active PIN Experienced within a nursing/care home setting for older people. Extensive clinical knowledge Sound knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation Excellent organisations and planning skills.
