Job summaryBased at one of our modern education centres in either East or West London, the post holder will provide managerial and leadership support to the programmes function of the department and lead the development of all recognised formal education under CE&S to ensure courses remain current in line with best practice.Take a key role in continuous improvement and development activity, contributing to developing new practices that will lead, through education, learning and personal/career development, to both improved patient care and staff job satisfaction and welfare.As a member of the Clinical Education and Standards Department, the post holder will be actively involved in promoting best clinical practice within the Service.Main duties of the jobYou will play a key role in supporting the clinical education programmes through support for curriculum development.Contributing to the transformation and development of the department, its purpose and culture.Formulate short, medium and long term strategic education plans across the Trust, and create a compelling vision for the future and communicate this throughout the organisation, adjusting these complex programmes as strategies emerge and develop, or unforeseen circumstances arise.Lead the transition and ongoing engagement in digital education and electronic student management systems, analysing services using complex feedback mechanisms and making judgements to develop these further where a range of options need to be considered and following appraisal implementing the most appropriate improvements.About usOur vision is to deliver outstanding emergency and urgent care whenever and wherever needed for everyone in London, 24/7, 365 days a year.
