It’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like.What you will be doing:As an experienced Clinician you will provide a high profile, visible clinical leadership to the team at Lakefields Neurological Centre. You will promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all service users, employees and visitors.You will complete clinical audits within the service to support the site in becoming the best that it can be. You will lead a Continuous Improvement plan at the site in line with the CQC.No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. If you have the aspiration, capability and dedication, we can give you the support and opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.Things that you will have:Being a registered practitioner with the NMC or the HCPC is desirable.An excellent understanding of audit standards and clinical governanceExperience in undertaking clinical audit activitiesHave the ability and willingness to use a variety of IT systemsAbility to disseminate clinical audit outcomes that generate changes to clinical practice with both individuals and clinical teams respectivelyAbility to lead Continuous Improvement processes in a Health Care facilitySound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (Care Quality Commission - CQC)Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient careExperience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholdersProven ability to successfully motivate a clinical services team providing positive leadership and clinical networking opportunitiesDemonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skillsAble to deliver education and training associated with clinical auditsWhere you will be working:Lakefields Neurological Centre will be a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life. The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care.Bedrooms are adapted to individual requirements, fitted with high dependency equipment including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment.
